The It Takes Two band features many of Melbourne's top musicians. The rhythm section comprising Angus Burchall, Craig Newman, Chong Lim, Brett Garsed, Stuart Fraser and Alejandro Vega have been the musical foundation for many artists from Noiseworks, John Farnham, Jimmy Barnes to Kylie Minogue and Olivia Newton-John. Their collective experience and musicianship has made them first-call musicians for recording sessions and live shows.
The brass section ably led by Greg Spence, Lachlan Davidson and Jordan Murray, and complemented by Shane Gillard, Daniel Beasy, Tony Hicks, Tim Wilson, Stuart Byrne, Ian Bell and Simon Scerri have performed on countless shows and albums, from "Spamalot" to "Grease", to the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra to The Australian Art Orchestra. Many of these musicans are very prominent in the local and international jazz scene.
Background vocals are provided by the excellent quartet of Mark Williams, Lindsay Field, Annette Roche and Janine Maunder and the String Section is led by the beautiful violin virtuoso Sally Cooper.
