'So Much Beauty' - April 26
Touring nationally in August and September
The album Nine Lime Avenue was so very well received by the public that Kate decided to make the majority of this next album in a similar vein, beautiful songs that she loves with three of them her own, one of those a duet with her friend, AFL star Russell Robertson. (Never Say Never to a Friend)
Kate Ceberano: "Funny thing about the show I have been dojing, It Takes Two, is that this is the truth, it does take two in life just to survive it and when you find that other one, either in a friend or a partner, it is a truly beautiful thing.
There are four songs observing the ways of love and friendship, the middle seven are about the journey with those for whom we care and the last one is about the reassurance which comes from true friendship.
Kate: "The entire recording project was conceived and completed in an organic, collaborative way with my management, family and wonderful musician friends in a simple environment, aided by the great input of another friend and great musician, James Black. I feel we have, together, achieved the product of an album, devoid of glamour and excessive expense, but indeed full of so much beauty, and I am very proud of the result.
