"Growing up on the beach in the surf coast town of Torquay I've always had a very strong affinity and connection with the ocean. Many of the scenes filmed on location for Home and Away are done at Palm Beach on Sydney's Northern Beaches. Cast and crew often see whales and dolphins playing in the waves and so share Catherine's admiration for the work done by the Sea Shepherd.
