   Marylin did have breast cancer, and her son was ill, she had to leave summer bay for her son who was seriously ill, he had heart problems, as i remember that marylin and mr fisher had to said their goodbye. Marylin didn't die and she won her battle against her breast cancer.

   i agree jaime- it would be great to see more rounded and interesting characters like robertson and joey coming back to add variety rather than the show bringing back characters like liam and angelo who frankly only seem to be on the show for their looks and are simply dull and bland- i really think the show could do with a rather more talented and experienced producer in charge.

   I think it's great to bring back Marilyn, she was a bit dippy but funny and, had a good heart.

   I'm not sure about bringing Marilyn back... she wasn't that great a character she was just good. I think she was good for the time, but bringing her back, I think is a backward step for H&A. H&A need to bring back Robert Robertson & Joey Collins. These two characters add so much diversity, dynamic screen presence and just quality that H&A is lacking at the moment..

   i thjough marilyn was dying of cancer and that is what fisher came back for to spend time with her b4 she died??
