Isabella, 23, was born in Melbourne, the oldest of three in a creative family. Her dad is a music composer so it was no surprise that from a young age Isabella had an interest in the arts and more specifically creating and appearing in films.
In 2009, Isabella enrolled in Swinburne University where she completed a degree in film and television. It was during her time at Swinburne that Isabella discovered her passion for drama and enrolled in acting classes at Howard Fine Acting Studio, 16th Street and Brave Studios.
Isabella co-wrote a documentary with Sydney filmmaker Ella Carey called Chong World in 2011 which screened at the St Kilda Film Festival. Two years later, she wrote and starred in her own short film called Swim which screened at the same festival.
Isabella relocated to Sydney in mid-2013 where she successfully auditioned for Home and Away and landed the role as Kyle’s (Nic Westaway) ex-girlfriend from Melbourne, Phoebe.
On her character Isabella explains, "Phoebe is impulsive, adventurous, mischievous, positive, determined, carefree and an obsessed musician. Playing Phoebe allows me to let go and see the joy in everything, she is so much fun."
On her first day on set she recalls, "I was to appear in a scene at a music festival. I was so nervous because I had to get up on stage in front of hundreds of extras. It was so much fun, yet terrifying at the same time. It was definitely one of the greatest days of my life!"
As well as acting and film making, Isabella’s other passions include dancing and more recently learning the guitar and singing. She also loves to travel with her family.
With Italian heritage on one side – Isabella, her parents and her two younger sisters, Olivia and Greta travel to Calabria, Italy every few years to visit family.
