Hi everyone

Well they say you should never judge a book by its cover but that’s exactly what we did with Riley Radcliffe. We all thought he was behind all the bullying, and although he played a part in it, his father was the main culprit. Ian Radcliffe is a nasty piece of work; he beat up his own son and blamed Miles so that he could blackmail him for $10,000.

My wonderful V.J. blew his cover; he saw Ian yelling at Riley. Then John Palmer told Charlie that he’d overheard Radcliffe bragging about ripping off Miles. Finally, she managed to get an admission from Riley that it was his Dad who had hurt him.

Romeo has been wandering around like a lost soul, he is missing Annie and he’s having trouble finding work. Apart from surfing, he doesn’t have any qualifications, so his options are very limited. Gina has taken him under her wing and suggested he goes back to school, he is a bright boy so I hope he considers her offer.

Aden managed to land himself a job at The Sands Resort, although under strange conditions. The manager wanted him to take his daughter to the Year 12 formal. Nicole thought it was hilarious as this girl is very full on. Aden couldn’t face the thought of going and begged Nic to be there to support him. I was surprised she wasn’t planning to go, but she said Liam wasn’t interested in hanging out with a bunch of 18 year olds, but she eventually changed her mind and took Miles as her date.

The night went well and Aden’s jaw dropped when he saw Nicole arrive, I must admit she did look stunning and totally over shadowed his date. I saw him dancing with Nic but then he rushed off. I couldn’t help remembering this time last year when he was with Belle and then the horrific accident with Kane’s car crashing into the school hall, and Melody locking everyone inside. I can’t believe that was a year ago, I wonder what Melody is doing now?

I tried to spend a bit of time with Miles and so did Alf, because he was so miserable, but in his mind he’s hit rock bottom.

Things were looking up for Martha, she accidentally found an engagement ring in Hugo’s bag. She got all excited and told Rachel that she thought he was going to propose and she was really ready to take the next step. She waited for him to come home, but he was in a very bad mood and every time she tried to steer the conversation round to marriage, he avoided it, and then eventually he told Martha he wanted to break up with her.

Shattered, she showed him the ring and he said he bought it for Suzy two years ago and had no plans to propose. She tried to get him to explain, but he just said he can’t commit to her anymore.

Geoff and Ruby almost had an interesting encounter. They were at Donna’s house and were supposed to be helping with the gardening, but I think they might have had some other plans too. They were interrupted by a noise and Geoff saw someone lurking around the house. It turns out that it was Donna’s old gardener Orson, who had been missing since Lou’s death. The next day, Donna had a phone call from his wife Bonita who told her that Orson was paid off by a person he found breaking into the guest house just before the gun was found – so it confirmed that Donna was framed for Lou’s murder. Now they just need to find Orson to get the name of the person who paid him off.

It’s all getting so intriguing, I hope we get some answers soon, the suspense is killing me.

Until next week

Take care
