Hello everyone

I can’t believe that Miles was attacked and it was the boys who had been bullying V.J. who threw a towel over him, then smashed his head into the shower pole. When he was on the ground they kicked and punched him relentlessly. I’m so shocked that kids he has taught could do this.

Although his injuries were not too bad, Miles was spun out by the incident, especially when Riley denied it and then his Dad, Ian Radcliffe accused Miles of later assaulting his son. Charlie had no choice but to charge Miles and so then he was stood down from his job at the school. I have decided to send V.J. to another school.

Irene came home from Japan and said Annie and Jai are really enjoying themselves and are picking up a few words of Japanese already. She thinks Annie is missing Romeo quite a lot, but hopes she can make the most of this opportunity. Apparently Geoff and Ruby were a bit surprised that she came home a couple of hours early…Geoff appeared with his t-shirt inside out and back to front!

Irene hadn’t been home long when Angelo turned up and told her that Donna DeBono had been released. The next day Donna shows up on her door step! Irene has a huge heart and after Donna apologised profusely and told her how much she has changed, she let Donna into the house and actually allowed her to stay the night…amazing.

Donna’s release made Angelo re-think his theory, perhaps she didn’t kill Lou. So if it wasn’t her, who on earth could have killed him? The plot thickens.

Gina has been struggling to get Xavier to accept John. I know it’s hard for children of any age to allow a new partner into the family, V.J. made a fuss when I started seeing Roman, even though he really liked him. John is not an easy man to warm to and he was very tough on Trey, but perhaps Xavier is being protective for a reason, I don’t know the story behind Gina’s marriage break down, but that could be making Xavier particularly wary. He told Tony that he used to hear his mother crying at night after his Dad left…how heartbreaking.

Mind you, Xavier had his own problems to deal with this week. Rosie and Ali both turned up at his house. Gina was frustrated that her dinner with John and Xavier was sabotaged, but we had a laugh about Xav being fought over by these two determined young women. I wonder if he will have the courage to tell them how he really feels.

Maybe he should take some lessons from Aden. He and Nicole have mended their friendship. Alf said he saw Aden trying to protect Nic from those ‘flamin’ yahoos’ on muck-up day. They were squirting her with water pistols and she wasn’t amused. Aden put his towel round her shoulders but then picked her up, ran down the beach and dropped her into the ocean! Luckily she saw the funny side of it and was last scene chasing him down the beach.

Hugo dropped another bombshell on Martha this week; she found a plane ticket to Indonesia in a drawer. That, on top of the discovery her house is being watched by the police, has made her understandably upset. She is scared that Bambang might be in danger and she is struggling to understand Hugo’s relationship with Suzy. He keeps telling her that he is handling everything and wants his life with Martha, but it must be very difficult to believe him.

Rach and I are going to have a girly night watching movies and eating chocolate.

So until next week

Take care
