Hello everyone

Charlie lost it in the Diner, I know she really stressed about Grant, but screaming out that she would kill him if he went near Ruby, in front of all my customers was very disturbing.

Ruby is very confused about everything, she agreed to meet Grant’s wife and I overheard her say that she had taken Grant back and that he was a good man and could not have done any of the things Charlie is saying. I’m not sure what I believe; Charlie has always been such a strong person, something terrible must have happened to make her so distressed and so frightened for Ruby.

Martha was very excited when Hugo said he had a big surprise for her. But when he took her out to the pier and showed her a rusty old boat, she was less than impressed and perhaps a little confused. Then he explained his idea, which was to sink the yacht and create a scuba diving site to bring more tourists to Summer Bay, and she thought that was great.

Unfortunately John Palmer overheard them discussing their plans and told them it would never happen. He claimed that sinking the schooner would cause and environmental disaster. He then went on a mission telling everyone that he was running for local council and to vote for him to prevent Summer Bay being ruined.

Now that Geoff has left school he has been desperately looking for work, he was hassling Irene for a job on the trawler. She said ‘no’ to begin with, and then she told him that if he could get Aden to agree to be Captain, then she would give them both a job. She really wanted to help Aden as he has been so down after Belle’s death. He has been crawling through the window of Belle’s old bedroom and sleeping in her bed, poor boy, it’s heartbreaking. Anyway eventually Aden agreed, but the boys had a few arguments and one ended up in a huge fight. Aden was electrocuted when he fell against the engine and was flung over board; he would have drowned if Geoff hadn’t pulled him out and resuscitated him. Perhaps they will put their differences aside now; I think they could make a great team.

Tony is trying to see more of Rachel and Harry, but she seems to be spending all her time helping Andy with his 2 children. Tony even made a romantic dinner so that they could re-connect, but Rach cancelled as Andy needed her again. I know she felt really bad when she saw how much effort Tony had made.

Liam Murphy is back in town and brought a newcomer. He picked up a hitch-hiker who said he was looking for his brother in Summer Bay, apparently his name is Romeo Smith. He’s already tried to charm Martha and seems to have got Annie into a fluster already. His brother turned out to be Jai Fernandez, they were in the same foster care home and he used to tease Jai about being his little brother. It’s nice to have a fresh face in the Bay.

It’s such a beautiful day, I am going to take V.J. down to the beach.
