Hi everyone

It seems everywhere Sid goes, Nicole turns. I’ve never trusted Sid, but didn’t think he would really stoop so low and take advantage of a teenager, but when Indi saw him kissing Nicole, she couldn’t believe it. She came into the Surf Club and Alf said she looked very upset, then apparently she ended up with some dodgy friends who gave her drugs and she collapsed through a coffee table, smashing her face in the glass. The cowards then just dumped her in the hospital and made a run for it.

Sid tried to treat her, and when her mother came, she refused to talk to Sid. Sadly it has resulted in Indi and Dexter leaving Summer Bay with their mother. Annie is terribly upset to lose Dex.

Ruby was on a mission to find her biological Dad and tracked him down via the internet. Before anyone realised what she was doing, she had turned up at his family home pretending to be a babysitter looking for work.

There was a massive confrontation with her dad, Grant Bledcoe in front of his wife, who had no idea what Ruby was shouting about. Luckily Charlie put together the pieces of the jigsaw and had just arrived outside the house when Ruby came rushing out in tears. But it didn’t end there, Grant followed them back to my house and wanted to talk, but Charlie forced him out, screaming at him.

I had no idea who he was, so when he turned up at the Diner pretending to be a friend of Charlie’s, I happily gave him our phone number.

I’m not sure what Grant said to Ruby, but she agreed to hear his side of the story and when Charlie found out that they planned to meet, she was so upset and actually managed to find them at the beach, and yelled at Grant to get away from Ruby. It’s very tense at home and I’m not sure how this situation will be resolved.

On to other news, Brendan is living with Hugo and Xavier whilst Gina is on holiday with Ted. He seems to be really enjoying himself and was very happy to go to the new school. Martha told me he wants to do more things, like make his own sandwich and he even managed to fix Annie’s camera, which amazed Xavier and Jai. Now that Dexter has left, I think Jai is still hoping to get back with Annie and he told me he was making a website for her to put up all her photographs, that is why he had the camera. To be honest I think Annie has moved on, she seems to be growing into a lovely young woman and Jai was her first high school romance, but I would be surprised if she went back with him…perhaps I’m wrong.

Geoff is in turmoil, the pressure of the HSC and Belle’s death have made him very unsettled. Irene said he was struggling to write an essay the other night, then he told her that he was quitting school and asked he she could give him a job on the trawler. At first she said no, but after Morag had a word to her, she hatched a plan. If Geoff could persuade Aden to become skipper, then she would agree to him working on the boat. That should be an interesting partnership as they have come to blows on more than one occasion in the past.

Colleen is calling for help in the kitchen, so I must dash.
