Hello everyone

How do you find the words to say goodbye? This was the question that Irene was struggling to answer after Belle’s death. I think she was so right when she said “There are no goodbyes, you see this beautiful talented, intelligent, passionate girl is still right here with us, she is in our memories, in our thoughts, she is right here, she’s in our hearts.”

I feel it’s true, I keep seeing flashes of Belle’s smiling face when I’m working in the kitchen or walking on the beach, as though she is trying to tell me that everything will be ok and to stay strong.

The service was beautiful, despite Liam Murphy turning up ‘off his face’ and making a scene at the back of the church. I thought Aden was going to react and throw him out, but he stayed composed. Tears rolled down my face when he said “The truth is no matter what anyone says, it sucks not having her with me, not being able to wake up beside her, not being able to picture my life with her in it, there is nothing ok with that, it just sucks.” They really were soul mates and I worry about how Aden will cope without Belle.

After the funeral, Ruby told Charlie that she wanted to visit her little nephew’s grave, but Charlie didn’t want her to. Of course Ruby kept pushing for more information and finally Charlie caved in and told her that the baby didn’t die, in fact it was a girl not a boy, and she was 16 years old and that yes Charlie was Ruby’s mother! Well you can imagine Ruby’s reaction to that news…to find out her sister is her mother and her parents are actually her grandparents!

Rachel is relieved, the Board has dismissed the negligence charges against her for Rex and Jane losing their baby. They thought that was the end of the saga but Jane does seem to have an unhealthy interest in them and Tony even confronted Rex at the Surf Club when he spotted them for the third time in the space of 24 hours. Understandably Rachel is now very protective over Harry so it took a lot of persuading for her to let Martha and Hugo babysit, to give her some much needed time with Tony.

Martha seems so happy with Hugo and seeing them leave the Diner pushing a pram made me think she really would make a good mother one day. I hope he is the right man for her, I happened to see him talking very intensely to Gibbsy the other night which made me a little concerned.

Oh my goodness Rachel has just received a phone call from Hugo saying that baby Harry has gone missing! Her worst nightmare has come true…I have to call Charlie immediately.

Till next week
