Hi everyone

Well the week started badly. Mr Bartlett was right to be concerned about the delay on the school bus. It’s hard to believe, but Trey Palmer spent weeks planning his revenge on all the people who he felt had been against him. He was so filled with anger, that he placed a bomb under the bus and told everyone that they would die if they tried to get out.

The clock was ticking and if Martha and Hugo hadn’t arrived, I’d hate to think about the consequences. They were very brave and followed John Palmer’s instructions to cut the wires, but just when they thought they were all safe, they discovered a secondary timer.

Hugo threw the bomb as far as he could, but he and John got caught in the explosion. Martha and Xavier were sick with worry in the hospital, whilst Hugo lay there unconscious, and with John and Jai in the other rooms, it seemed as though everyone was at the hospital.

Fortunately by the end of the week they were all making good progress. We don’t know what has happened to Trey, his mum was looking very stressed but said she hadn’t seen him. What a terrible situation this is for a mother, I think Trey is her only child.

Miles and Kirsty have hit a rough patch. He found a packet of birth control pills in her bag whilst they were on the trek and realised that she had been lying about wanting another baby. She was distraught and Irene advised her to talk to Miles before it damaged her relationship.

We had a bit of a laugh at Belle’s hen’s night. My cousins have this tradition of making wedding dresses out of toilet rolls and Annie thought this was a great idea. The girls dressed Belle and I in paper creations and Colleen was nominated as the judge. Belle won of course and looked fantastic. We were getting a bit tipsy and I remember threatening to dance on the table again, when Rachel suddenly felt the pain of a contraction. We were in a panic because we couldn’t get hold of Tony or Alf, as they were at Aden’s bucks night, then Belle said she could drive. This was very strange as I was sure she had been drinking just as much as the rest of us, but she swore she hadn’t touched a drop.

So we all rushed to the hospital, but Rachel was very distraught not to have Tony with her. Dr Young was getting worried that the baby was in distress when Tony appeared. Rachel managed a natural birth although there were a few agonising moments when they had to clear the baby’s airways but then baby Harry was put into the arms of his proud parents.

I can’t help thinking of little Pippa at times like these, the look on Sal’s face when she held her was priceless. I must give them a call and get an update on their lives.
