Hi, It was Ruby’s sweet sixteenth this week. Charlie got her a lovely dress and Ross sent her matching earrings. I wanted everything to be perfect because she was so excited. Jai and Xavier decorated the surf club nicely and we did the food. Colleen was telling Irene and I about her dress for her 16th birthday party lol. Ruby looked gorgeous when she came in, I got the first hug :-) Trey turned up – can’t believe he’s showing his face after what he did to Nic. He was promptly chucked out by Alf who accused him of spiking the punch (we found out afterwards that it wasn’t him). Jai looked like he was a little intoxicated judging by the way he was leaning on Annie, she ended up running out. Charlie left the party early and Colleen had to go back to work – she keeps calling Angelo “Constable Risotto” lol. Ruby also left early to go hang out with Xavier, Charlie looked a little disheartened when I told her that’s where her sister got to. Alf and I had to do the clean up…earliest one I’ve ever done, I don’t know why everyone bailed so early!

Aden’s been doing a few shifts at the Diner, it’s cute to see him and Belle working together. Colleen mentioned something about thinking Belle is pregnant because she almost collapsed and hasn’t been feeling too well; glad that rumour didn’t get too far. Aden missed a penalty kick at the game but that wasn’t the worst thing that happened – Geoff legally tackled Lachie (Claudia’s ex) and now he’s lying in hospital, paralysed! I gather Lachie was intimidating Geoff for the entire game but Geoff retaliated right at the end, he feels so guilty now moreso because it’s unknown whether Lachie will walk again or not. Claudia’s been at the hospital constantly. Get this – she’s been lying to Geoff all this time, the baby is actually Lachie’s! Geoff is crushed. Irene obviously gave her a serve but has allowed her to stay at the Beach House for a while. That’s not the only drama at that house right now; Annie broke up with Jai because she feels he’s lied about being cool about not having sex right now (kids!). According to Miles, Jai’s been walking around as miserable as a rainy day. Miles also told me that he and Alf discovered a porno mag at the house and each thought it belong to the other so they danced around the issue lol. It was Jai’s, given to him by a mate from school and Miles had the awkward task of doing the parental talk with him about it. Bad news is, Annie found it when she went over for dinner and just walked out on him again. I wonder if she’ll forgive him? Poor guy’s had it pretty rough lately, mates having sex and he isn’t, gets dumped by his girlfriend and he’s grounded which I’m about to explain.

So Trey did the public apology to Nicole at school but it didn’t quite go to plan. His dad was apparently being really horrible to him in front of everyone, calling him “pathetic” and such. Jai then started a mini-riot and the kids threw things at Trey. I have to say, I felt a bit sorry for him hearing that. Miles has grounded Jai over instigating the outbreak.

Xavier got in trouble with Angelo this week as well. He and Hugo were driving to a remote spot when Hugo let Xavier drive a little and Angelo happened to be right behind them. They got fined.

On a less troublesome note, we had Rach’s baby shower. It was a small affair, only myself, Colleen, Martha, Kirsty, Irene and the mum-to-be attended. I helped set it up and was so impressed by how calm Rach was being. She totally freaked out though when Colleen regaled us with tales of the endless nights with no sleep etc. Everyone was acting a little weird actually, like baby talk was taboo. In the meantime, Miles occupied Ollie and VJ by playing footie. He’s gonna be such a great dad, he and Kirsty have decided to try for a baby! Not sure why she looked like she’d rather be elsewhere than the baby shower though…
