Zachary Quinto stars as Sylar, a manipulative serial killer who relentlessly continues to collect the extraordinary talents of special people. He shape shifted and had the memories of Nathan Petrelli (Adrian Pasdar) pushed into him at the end of Season 3 and now looks like and believes himself to be Nathan.

He was recently seen as Spock in Paramount’s critically acclaimed feature film reboot of Gene Roddenberry's "Star Trek," directed by J.J. Abrams. The story will follow the legendary duo of James T. Kirk and Mr. Spock as newly graduated cadets fresh out of Starfleet Academy and paired up for their first mission. The film is scheduled to open May 2009.

The Pittsburgh native has been acting since age 11, and jumped right into theater to launch his acting career. He starred in such shows as "Side Man," "Gross Indecency" (City Theatre Company), and "Oliver," as well as "Intelligent Design of Jenny Chow" (Old Globe) "Endgame" (Odyssey), "Much Ado About Nothing" (L.A. Shakespeare Festival & Vineyard Playhouse), "The Bear" (Tintreach company, Galway Ireland), "Map of Doubt and Rescue," "Laying on of Hands," "Pro Bono Publico," "Lonesome Hollow" (Ojai Playwrights conference), "Stone" (Taper New Works Festival), and "Lonely Impulse of Delight" (Vineyard Playhouse).

During high school, Quinto realized that acting was something more than a hobby. So to further pursue his dream, he attended Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama, and graduated as a true triple threat. Quinto was honored with the university's prestigious Gene Kelly Award for his role as the Major General in "Pirates of Penzance."

Acting since 2000, Quinto's first television job was on "The Others," which quickly lead to guest-starring roles on "CSI," "Touched by an Angel," "Charmed," "Six Feet Under," "Crossing Jordan," and "Dragnet" among others. Most recently, Quinto had a recurring role on "24" and co-starred in Tori Spelling's sitcom, "So NoTORIous."

In addition, his film credits include "Down with Love" and "Psychic Murders."

Quinto currently resides in Los Angeles. He is learning how to play the banjo and is taking cooking classes. Quinto also enjoys hiking with his Irish Wolfhound/Airedale Terrier mix, Noah, and hanging out with his cat, Harold. He graduated from Carnegie Mellon University. His birthday is June 2.
