Milo Ventimiglia

Milo Ventimiglia stars as Peter Petrelli, a paramedic with the ability to absorb the powers of others. Peter has recently cut himself off from the people in his life, including his mother (Cristine Rose) and brother (Adrian Pasdar), in order to focus solely on saving as many people as possible through his work as a super-powered paramedic.

Ventimiglia stars in the upcoming feature films "Armored" with Matt Dillon, and "Game" with Gerard Butler. He was most recently seen on the big screen in the thriller "Pathology" alongside Alyssa Milano and Lauren Leigh Smith. He also starred with Sylvester Stallone in the sixth installment of the "Rocky" series, "Rocky Balboa," in which he plays Rocky Jr. His other feature film credits include the film "Stay Alive," the Wes Craven/Kevin Williamson thriller "Cursed," the indie film "Dirty Deeds," "Sheer Bliss" and "Massholes." Additionally, he starred in the short films "Nice Guys Finish Last" and "Must Be the Music," which debuted at the 1996 Sundance Film Festival to rave reviews.

Previously on television, Ventimiglia starred in Tom Fontana's series "The Bedford Diaries," which focused on a group of college students in a human sexuality class. He quickly garnered attention when he joined the casts of two critically acclaimed television dramas: "Gilmore Girls" (as the quiet and complicated Jess), and "American Dreams" (as a 1960s war radical). He was also a recurring character on David E. Kelley's drama "Boston Public."

Before joining "Gilmore Girls," audiences became familiar with Ventimiglia when he starred in the series "Opposite Sex," which secured him a holding deal with Warner Bros. His other television credits include guest roles on primetime series such as "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air," "C.S.I.," "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch" and "Promised Land."

Ventimiglia directed American Eagle Outfitters first original series, a comedy entitled "It’s a Mall World," which was produced by his production company Divide Pictures. The 12-episode series aired exclusively on ae.com and three-minute teasers of the show premiered on MTV during "Real World Sydney." American Eagle hired Ventimiglia and Divide Pictures again to direct and produce a claymation series called "Home for the Holidays" which aired throughout the 2007 holiday season.

Recently, Divide Pictures launched two comic book titles with Top Cow publishing. "Rest" focuses on a New York-based office professional type who is approached by an old friend to take part in a pharmaceutical experiment – take a pill which allows you to function without sleep. What he does with his extra time – and why the government is sponsoring the experiment – becomes the focus of the book. "Berserker" is about a group of people seemingly unconnected to each other that discover, unbeknownst to them; they had been born with hidden abilities to kill. Grounded in Norse mythology Berserker focuses on a man who is being pushed over the edge while trying to get back to his life after being in the military in Afghanistan.

Ventimiglia currently resides in Los Angeles. In July 2008 he visited the Middle East on a 10-day, three-country USO tour and spent time meeting with the servicemen and women of the armed forces. He continues to work with the IAVA in supporting vets when they return from overseas.
