Delta Backlash

Who would have thought that being talented, beautiful and nicer than pie could land Australian singer Delta Goodrem in so much hot water? During her time as a mentor on the reality show The Voice, Goodrem became one of the most criticised and publically abused TV personalities in the country. Labelled a diva, spoilt princess, contrived and irritating, the 27 year old singer was the target of threats and the subject of nasty video parodies on YouTube. The backlash was put down to a good old case of tall poppy syndrome.
