Carmelo Pizzino was born in Perth and won his first dancing award at just five years of age.

Moving to Sydney at a young age, Carmelo then moved to London to further his dance career and represent Australia on the international circuit. He has since won many Australian and World titles, including the prestigious British Latin Championship, The International Latin Championship, the Australian Open, South Pacific, Australasian, Singapore's Lion City Championship and the Rumba in the Jungle Latin Championship in South Africa.

Carmelo was a resident teacher at Sydney Dance Company for three years. He studied theatre and performed in shows under the guidance of New York producer Missy Stephens. He has also performed internationally, with recent appearances on Holland's So You Think You Can Dance.

Carmelo made his Dancing With The Stars debut in Series Four, partnering Noeline Brown. He then returned in Series Five with grandmaster chess star Arianne Caoili, reaching the Grand Final.

For the past two years Carmelo has been performing in 'Burn the Floor's Floorplay', touring Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Japan, Europe, Canada and the US.

In February, Carmelo returned to Australia to work on the second series of So You Think You Can Dance.

Hi Carmelo, You gorgeous bloke you. What a wonderful dancer you are, not flowery but a great mover. I first recognised how nice you were when watching you with Noeleen. You were so gorgeous with her it was wonderful to watch. And now you're at it again. Hi Carmelo, I am enjoying your dancing so much. I think you are the best and I hope you and Kylie win the series. it is really annoying how Channel 7 spell your name with 2 lls. My husband's name is also Carmelo so the spelling really irrates me. However, apart from that, I enjoy watching you dance so much every week. You really have a very sexy body! I too think Carmello is so hot. I missed watching you dance when you were away for a few series. My dream came true when you came back. I want you and Kylie to win, so that I can just keep watching you.

Yep, I think Carmello is hot too...! I love to watch him dance and watch how he moves his body, he moves so smoothly and makes the most of his physique. He really is a lovely dancer.
