Currently playing the role of Fiyero in Wicked - the hottest musical theatre ticket in town - actor, singer, entertainer and former Australian Idol top 5 Rob Mills is looking to emulate his success on the dance floor.

Rob knew early on that he wanted to sing and perform. By the age of 21 he had spent three years as front man for the "Mega Men", becoming one of the most successful pub bands in Melbourne with packed houses at every show.

In 2003, Rob auditioned for Australian Idol. He found himself in the Top 12 and went on to reach the Top 5, on what became the highest rating show in Australian Television history. The Top 13 went on to tour the country with packed multiple arena shows in every major Australian city.

He was signed to BMG shortly after the Idol Tour and his first single, Ms. Vanity debuted at #6 on the Australian charts, reaching Gold status. His debut album Up All Night was released in June 2004, featuring seven co-written tracks.

In 2005 Rob was host of a brand new TV show called Stooged for Network Ten (a version of the US series Punked).

After the obligatory backpacking trip around Europe in 2006, Rob arrived back stepping straight back into various corporate, radio and music performance and guest spots on the ABC's Spicks & Specks.

May 2007 saw Rob in the lead role of Claude in the Perth production of Hair, which won rave reviews and a sold out season.

Rob joined as a co-host on the up-late game show The Mint as well as special guest appearances on The Singing Bee, The Today Show, KAK, Carols By Candlelight, and was a regular reporter on Holidays For Sale.

Rob first heard the music from Wicked in 2005 and vowed to be a part of the show when it came to Australia. He is thrilled to have won the role of Fiyero in the most successful Broadway Musical in history.
