Titanic is a trick answer as the musical had nothing to do with the movie (saw it and was disappointed when the show got cancelled in Brisbane due to lack of ticket sales in its Sydney run).
However, surprised that Evita was not in the list...

It's so misleading to have Hamlet included??! Sure it was on Broadway but it had also been in every theatre in the world as well. The question makes it sound like shows that were created specifically for Broadway

The question is about ANY stage productions which have been performed on Broadway and then gone on to win Best Picture at the Oscars. It didn't say that the shows had to have PREMIERED on Broadway - which is where I think your confusion is coming in. The production just had to have been staged on Broadway before it was adapted for film and then gone on to win Best Picture.
