- Masking Tape or bull-dog clips
- A long length of paper about 1 meter wide (butchers paper is good for this or if you only have normal size you can sticky tape a few pieces together to make it bigger)
- Thin paint (we used red, yellow and blue)
- Empty and clean spray bottles - one for each colour of paint
- Apron or old T-Shirt to protect your clothes
- A wall, fence or ease!
WHAT TO DO:
- It's probably best to paint your mural outside - so you don't get paint all over the house so ask an adult to help tape or clip your paper to a fence or wall and make sure you put on an apron or old T-Shirt before you get started with any paint.
Pour each paint into a spray bottle - if it's too thick you may need to mix it with a bit of water
Now squirt the paint onto the paper. Be as creative as you like making shapes and images. NOTE: Colours will mix and overlap as they run down the wall.
Leave your mural to dry for a couple of hours.
You may like to hang it up in your room, or use as special wrapping paper to send to family and friends for their birthdays.
