WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Old stockings
Soil
Bird or Grass seed
Googly eyes
Glue

WHAT TO DO:

• Open a stocking and put soil down the bottom of the toe.
• Add some grass or bird seed
• Then fill with more soil until it's about the size of a tennis or baseball.
• Tie a knot at the top to secure. - You can cut off the rest of the stocking if it is too long but be careful with sharp scissors. You may need to get an adults help.
• Then you can give it personality by pulling out a nose and gluing on some eyes.
• And of course it needs a name!

FINALLY, MAKE SURE YOU WATER YOUR NEW FRIENDS EVERYDAY AND KEEP THEM OUT IN THE SUN SO THEY CAN GROW.
