"Hannah Montana" aka Miley Stewart, is the hippest 14-year-old transfer from Tennessee to come to Malibu, bringing along her brother, Jackson, and father, Robby. With her best friends Lilly and Oliver, they weave and navigate the tangled web of school life - from getting good grades, to impressing her crush, to being accepted by the various social haves and have-tos!

As awkward as Miley sometimes feels as a teenager, she undergoes a transformation when performing on stage. Miley's classmates are totally out of the know when it comes to her double life as pop singer, Hannah Montana. She travels the world, entertaining fans with the music written by her manager who's also her dad.

Miley lives a life that any kid dreams to have. While the glamour and fame does have its perks (limousines, cool clothes and hanging out with celebrities) Miley most wants to be treated like any other teenager and experience the typical life led by her peeps.

Hi it's Miley! Shhhh, I'm also Hannah Montana, but only my best friends know that. Well my family knows too. My dad Robby and my weasley brother Jackson. And for a wealsey brother, he's pretty cool. Ya see, if everybody knew I was such a big star, I wouldn't get to have a normal life. Always getting chased by photographers and fans... sometimes even people I know, who don't know it's me, Miley, you know? I mean it's totally cool to go on the road, singing and being a big star but as soon as I step off that stage, I want to go right back to my normal life. My new friend, Lilly is the best. I met her in Malibu. You know, where I live now. It's a long way from Tennessee! That's where I grew up. My dad's a pretty awesome dad but still my dad. Get where I'm going with that? Anyway, I'm hoping I can keep the other me that's really me a secret that only me, uh.. I mean, I know. It's gonna take lot of work though!

Hey! Jackson here. Oh yeah! The one and only Jackson. Sure the babes love me. Well, they like me.... Okay, they don't hate me but you got to admit they're coming around. Now that I'm living in California, if I learn how to surf, that's all I need. That and probably to get a better grade than a C, so my dad will get off my back. Then I'll be able to go out more. My dad's a song writer, my sister is Miley slash Hannah Montana. Oh, but you didn't hear that from me. She's pretty cool as sisters go. It could be worse, Lilly could be my sister. YIKES!!

Hey, I'm Lilly. I hope you've been paying attention. Things I like... My hair, my hat, definitely the beach, as long as I don't burn. Oh yeah, and my best friend Miley. Yup, she's my best friend. As much as I don't want to admit it, I think there's something about Oliver that Miley, my best friend, likes about him. I have to keep my radar up on that one!

Oliver here. You may just know me as "da'man!" Sure I'm hip, I'm cool and I got the moves to back me up! And ohhhhhhh how Hannah Montana is in love with me, well at least I think she is! Anyhoo, my best friends are Miley and Lilly and always will be, props to them!

Hey there. Robby here. I'm Miley and Jackson's dad. I got some great kids, although I wish they'd listen to me more often. I probably shouldn't be bragging by telling you that my beautiful daughter is Hannah Montana. I'm so proud of her. I'm proud of Jackson too, just not sure yet, why I am, but I am! Sure is quite a change living in Malibu, California. Hey, don't they ever get any clouds out here?
