As the police pound on the door, T-Bag desperately tries to free himself from the radiator he's tied to. The police barge in, and T-Bag is gone. He's had to chew through his reattached hand to do so, leaving it stuffed behind the radiator. In New Mexico Michael buys a box of fishing-reel oil in vials, but is forced to steal a GPS unit because he's short on cash. An elderly clerk tries to stop him, and Michael knocks him down. Michael sprints off, and has flashbacks of all the people he's wronged. He spies a church across the street.

Aldo explains to Lincoln that he and his crew plan on exposing the President. In doing so they will exonerate Lincoln. The NSA recorded a call between the White House and Steadman two weeks after Steadman's "death." An operative tried to get the recording out, but was intercepted by the Governor's people. With the Governor dead, they assume Sara has it now. Outside Aldo's safe house a Company Man shoots a couple of security people, and sneaks into the house. Lincoln tackles him, and they fight viciously. Lincoln stabs the intruder, but he doesn't die. As he's about to cut into Lincoln with a butcher knife, Aldo's operative, Jane, shoots him. Kellerman duct-tapes Sara to a chair. He wants to know where the "item" her father had is. She insists she doesn't know what he's talking about. He fills a bath with water. Michael confesses his sins to a priest, and then hitches a ride to the desert, 75 miles north of the Mexican border.

Kim frees Mahone from his cage with a warning: "As long as you do your job, we forget about Shales." He makes a subtle threat toward Mahone's son, Cameron. Freed at last, Mahone works on "bolshoi booze." He finally solves the puzzle when he sees the tattoo upside down. They're not letters; they're numbers. Michael uses his stolen GPS to get to those exact coordinates in the desert. A truck pulls up. A Latino man greets Michael, and asks for his payment: the medical-grade nitro. Michael hands over the box of fishing-reel oil, and asks where the plane will be. He's told he'll get a call with the location later, and the man suggests getting out of the sun. His two cousins exit the truck, and join them. Kellerman holds Sara's head under water to make her talk. Mahone speeds south toward the GPS coordinates. At a shack in the desert Michael's Latino connection observes that he seems nervous, which Michael dismisses. The man then moves to the "nitro," and decides to do a "little quality control test." Bellick awakes in a hospital, and is questioned by a female officer about his attack at the station. He's not talking. Once she's gone he leaves Geary a phone message, promising to gut him "bow to stern." Geary is living it up in a swanky hotel room with a trio of hookers. Before Michael's contact gives him the information on the plane, his cousin announces that the stuff isn't nitro. The contact pulls a gun. Before Michael can be forced to talk, Sucre bursts in and shoots the gunman. Michael arms himself with the injured man's gun.

Kellerman continues to torture Sara. He plugs in an electric iron, and dons a pair of rubber gloves. He holds Sara back under the water, and sticks the iron in, shocking her. Geary digs through his money, and discovers a little beeping devise. There's a knock at the door. An extremely weak-looking T-Bag points a gun at the hookers and hisses, "Leave." Geary tries to bribe T-Bag with the money, but T-Bag just grabs a champagne bottle. Michael and Sucre extract the plane information from the wounded contact. Sucre tries to convince Michael to leave the men tied up in the shack to die. Kellerman gets a call from Kim, who orders him to kill Sara. T-Bag settles into a temporary life of luxury. Against Sucre's wishes, Michael decides to cut the Latinos loose. That good deed is rewarded when they're given the "real" plane information in return. As Bellick leaves the hospital he sees an EMT bringing in the body of Roy Geary with a crushed skull. Bellick admits to the EMT that he was "a friend of mine." The female cop overhears, and now wants to question him some more. Mahone's in his car when he gets a call from his ex-wife. He apologizes for their failed marriage. After the call ends he enters the desert. Outside the shack Lincoln shows up, and warmly greets Michael and Sucre. Michael asks about LJ, and Lincoln assures him he's safe. He adds that he brought someone with him, and Aldo comes around the corner. Michael's face registers shock and recognition: "We've met before." Sara's torture continues but she still refuses to give in. Kellerman tells her that when you drown, there's a certain euphoria as the water rushes into your lungs. He thinks she'll appreciate that, being a junkie. He shoves her under one more time.
