Thought I would pay the house a visit yesterday and have a catch up with my favourite group of lookers. But instead of finding love and joy sprinkled about, I unearthed a dirty big slab of tension!
Every single bloke confessed to me they were sick and tired of the girls and their bitching… but when pressed, they all admitted "girls" was possibly too loose a term. The finger was well and truly pointed at Hannah as being the instigator of a lot of tension in the house… how interesting, because she is the very girl I was referring to in one of my earlier blogs!
You've probably caught up on some of the drama by watching "Off the Runway" on Tues night, but if not, here's the drill. Hannah is, according to just about everyone bar Hannah, jealous of Shanina. She's had modelling experience and some of the blokes believe, came in expecting to be the Alpha Female.
Enter Shanina – who the boys universally believe is the hottest girl in the comp – and, in their words, "sweet as pie". At first, the blokes thought all the girls were guilty of some bitching and backstabbing but threw Kassie in the mix as Hannah's main sidekick. Kassie, however, denies she's ever said a bad word about anyone, and reckons it's all a big misunderstanding. Rhys thinks the girls should stop talking behind each other's backs and just be up front with each other. Luke reckons they're all carrying on like idiots and Tom thinks they might as well keep it up because it's distracting them from the competition and leaving the way wide open for the boys to stride on through to the winner's podium.
But perhaps Lucas says it best of all, in his typically blunt and dry sense of humour – "They're all fresh outta high school and this is immature crap."
For her part, Hannah doesn't think she's done anything wrong and says despite the confrontations the girls have had, all she's decided to change is how open she is with them. She says that she had been sharing her "winning techniques", and won't be doing that anymore. These include meditating, stretching and visualisation.
Now, I love Hannah's earthy, hippy side but methinks it's a little strange that the "zen" one of the group is throwing a little more yin than yang into the mix. And something tells me that despite the claims of "oh yeah, we've all talked it out and we're all cool now", nothing's really changed at all. I'm not being insightful here either btw – it's just that everyone bar Hannah was swift to tell me that the girls need to have a major attitude adjustment or things are going to explode!
