Cheerful Perth teenager Courtney can't contain her excitement at having made the Make Me a Supermodel final 14.
Her distinctive look, courtesy of her father's Maltese heritage, and an infectious personality landed her a spot in the elite group.
Although this waitress lives and works in Cottesloe, the site of Perth's most famous beach, Courtney says she isn't a sun, sand and surf girl.
Make Me a Supermodel isn't Courtney's first foray into modelling. At 13, she walked into an agency and was instantly signed up but despite many castings got limited work.
"The only modelling job I can recall was a being paid $60, I think, to do a TAFE fashion parade," she says.
Not that she counted, Courtney largely attributes her lack of work to the braces she wore for "2 years, 7 months and 1 day".
She says her confidence dropped dramatically, but with her now perfect set of pearly whites she is back to her bubbly and beautiful self.
Since that initial encounter with the agency, Courtney says she has dreamed of being a successful model.
Her most exciting moment in modelling has come in the early stages of Make Me a Supermodel with her first full-blown photo shoot.
"It was amazing, I just loved it so much," she says. "Whether I win or not it was so exciting to get to come to Sydney, let alone make the finals."
If the big bucks don't start rolling in from modelling, Courtney says she won't be deterred.
"If I don't make it as a model I want to do something else in fashion," she says. "I also love photography and make-up. I couldn't think of anything worse than going back to school but I'd love to study make-up to be able to work in fashion."

The Finale
Any how, definitely frontrunner material this girl.
I know it might be in your genes & metabolism to be skinny.. but any doctor will tell you you're very underweight
