As editor of Marie Claire magazine, Jackie Frank knows style. Who does she think deserves to win and who would she have liked in the Final 3? Find out!Coming to the finale, who do you think deserves the title most?
Shanina, she's been consistent throughout the competition, she nails the photo shoots each time, she's fantastic on the runway, she stands out for me. Also, Rhys has come a long way from being a surfer dude to potential supermodel. He had his epiphany half-way through the series and from that moment on his attitude and confidence changed.
Who has shown the most growth?
I'm actually surprising myself by saying Courtney. Courtney in the last two weeks has stepped up and I was really surprised by that.
Is there anyone not in the Final 3 you would have liked to have seen there?
I would have liked to have seen Tom in the final three. I think he has major potential as a runway model and he's the most au fait with fashion - he certainly lives and breathes it, and I think he has a really European look.
What moment involving any of the Final 3 has really touched you?
I was really moved when I was at General Pants with Shanina at Parramatta and we revealed her photo in the window. I had a little chat with her afterwards and it was really quite moving in terms of what her aspirations were and how much she wanted it. There was a lot of passion there and it was quite emotional being at the end and realising that it was all coming to a finish and she may or may not win.
What challenges will the winner face?
Well they've been living in a bubble until now, they've been very cocooned. They're going to have to face the real world and competition with other working models, which they're not used to doing and I think that's going to be a big step for them. They're also going to have to really develop their personalities to sell themselves - that's going to be another challenge.
What was your favourite moment of the entire comp?
It's just been so much fun. It was lots of fun to go around the country and see all the different people who had aspirations to be involved in the show. As well as the photoshoots - my background is doing photoshoots so it was great fun to go to the photoshoots and give them some advice that they could use to develop their sense of what's needed.
The Finale
Shanina has not improved much since she has entered the competition. She was at the same level as she is now. Yes, she was the best on the first day, but finally, Courtney has grown past Shanina.
I am a happy man tonight that Shanina is not the winner.
