A western Sydney boy, Martin was signed to Chadwick Model Agency in 1981. He was snapped up three years later by Ford Models in New York, one of the world's leading agencies for which he became one of their busiest assets.
For a decade Martin worked throughout Europe and the US as a model, while based in New York. In 1995, he would return to Sydney and where his global odyssey began at Chadwick. He became partner and co-owner of the model agency that gave him his big break and soon establish the exclusive Chadwick Management division that would shape the careers of Megan Gale and Tara Moss, to name a few.
In 2006, Martin assumed full control of Chadwick Model Agency and now acts as the agency's managing director.
When the winner of Make Me a Supermodel is announced, their career will be in the capable hands of Martin and his Chadwick team. Martin is excited at the prospect of finding a diamond in the rough on the show and taking the winner to an international career.
"I'm looking for male and female talent that can make the fashion world stand up and take notice, and then go on and surprise us all," Martin says.
