What's your role in the show and what does it entail?

My role in the show is to be a judge. I have been in the fashion industry for over 20 years and i have watched models for that length of time. I have seen beautiful girls come and go and understand what makes for longevity and what is needed to be a supermodel. I would like to think that i will bring my experience in the industry to the table.

What qualities will you be looking for in the girls? And the boys?

Besides a fab look they need to have something special, a unique look, confidence, professionalism refinement, positive outlook, they are here to sell something so they need to know how to work clothes.

What makes a model a 'supermodel'?

Strong personality - being a chameleon, drive, ambition, professionalism, expression of self - listening, seeing, observing - understanding fashion and how it works and looks on your body - beauty and height are important but not the be all and end all - its how you work your look, they need to have the X factor!

Linda Evangelista - chameleon

Natalia Vodianova - spirit and humanitarian

Christy Turlington - inner and outer beauty

Elle Mcpherson - she made her looks a big business

Kate Moss - just because she is iconic, great personal style

What's the biggest fashion trend right now?

Sky high heels and models have to learn how to walk in them!

What's your best piece of advice for a budding supermodel?

Stay healthy, focused, do not take things personally - learn from constructive criticism to move forward. Understand that this is big business. Only very few succeed to heights of a supermodel. They must really want it!
