Yeah, this is a faith episode.
• Obi-John Lockenobi. Had to say it.
• This season, I've been holding a tally of who is the worst parent, Sun or Kate. Turns out we forgot the worst of all. Lost's Awesome Parenting Award goes to Michael, for not even telling Walt he was going back to the island. It was so good to see him again but disappointing that Locke opted to spare him the return journey. Will this come back to haunt him like the dreams of Locke under attack haunting Walt? I really want Walt to come back into things, if only because I like the character and we wouldn't have Michael screaming his name every four seconds.
• I seen a runway, everyone else seen the runway say yeah! Our theories from season three that the Others were building a runway were proven true. This means they knew 316 was coming, or at least someone did, and made them get to work. Some thoughtful person (Other?) has since laid gravel.
• Seems Frank and Sun have ditched the other survivors to head to the main island, Ben is unconscious and injured and Locke is alive and walking around. Why did they stay with the plane when Jack, Kate and Hurley disappeared? Where's Sayid? How cool was it that Locke pieced together what happened just from a one sentence description of Hurley. Remembering how Ben killed him was just plain creepy, especially since it was the exact way his father was killed.
• It looks like those are the same boats Sawyer found the water bottle in when they flashed to the future – does that mean we're eventually going to see one of these survivors get shot by Juliet?
• The dodgy guy from last week turned out to be Caesar, the even dodgier guy. He goes through files, knows where guns are and doesn't need flashlights. There's no way he's an ordinary survivor, especially going through all those Documents of Great Importance.
• I wonder how Sayid feels that he's only allowed good hair when he's a bad guy.
• It was sad to learn Helen died. I considered that perhaps Abaddon faked things in order to keep Locke on his path, but I'd like to think he was telling the truth and she died while Locke was following his destiny, further adding to his sacrifice.
• I think it's pretty cool that it was actually Christian who convinced Jack to come back with a simple hi. As Locke said all along, he only needed to convince one and Christian had already told him who and how.
• I love that after so much theorizing Jeremy Bentham turned out to be a joke. Sorry, did I say love? I mean ^&*(-ing hate.
• I found Widmore terribly off-putting this episode, despite learning his previous Others leadership. He knew Richard and the island wanted Locke dead; he wasn't keeping
• Never, ever break your leg anywhere where there is sand. Movies have taught me that if you break your leg on sand, at some point your gonna have to bite down on something and pass out.
