Were you surprised to be nominated for a Silver Logie?

I was stoked. I was so stoked. The Silver Logies have been making me learn my lines for the last 8 or 9 months. Because you get to a point in the job especially when you have so many scenes...three  weeks at a time, you know this is three weeks and its just always at work so you try and find new motivations and the silver logie has been that. I wrote it on my mirror and I learn my lines until I can't do any more and then I look in my mirror and go c'mon. I guess what I’ve learned through all for this logie and singing stuff is being prepared takes a lot longer but it feels so much better in the long run.

Friendly rivalry between you and Mark Furze?

No, I don't think so.  We're completely different.  You couldn't get more different. It's like Barbie and Ken, don't know who's which, which guy's which, I'm not sure.  Furz is the rock guy ,ya know the rock guy with the long hair and he’s got it all going on and I’m, I just sorta like to dress high fashion and ya know I like fine food and a different style of music altogether.  And I think that's what's so good about it, but we were there last year so we’ve been through the whole, and I think for us it's not something that we think about I mean maybe he does but it just seems like there are other things to focus on.

What are you gonna wear?

I know Channel 7 is trying to dress me I just got an email from wardrobe but haven't read it yet.  I'm keen to go get some of my own people to...

Your friend's in Melbourne?

Yeah...I got dressed two years ago and I loved the suit and had great comments and this year I looked just like everyone else, black suit and black tie, BORING!!! Write that down! So yeah, get a nice suit designed by subfuco.

Are you going to have a speech prepared?

I do, yep definitely.  Otherwise you  walk out and you stand around and go ahhh huh…and you forget to thank people who that really deserve thanking, like your agent, which I did the first year.
