How does it feel to be nominated for a Silver Logie?

It's lovely, it's very odd. I think there's been a mistake that I'm in that category because there are two gold logie nominees in there. So that’s huge! So I'm stoked. It was never a dream to win a gold logie, I've just always wanted to act, but I guess being acknowledged for that is great, that's fantastic to get that for what I enjoy doing.

I was nominated last year. It was just as much of a shock as it was last year. I'm incredibly excited to have been put amongst such great actors this year. It's really nice.

Have you decided what to wear?

No, I had a fitting the other day for a suit. Nothing too crazy I don't think. I always thought it would be fun to do something a little bit stupid, but I'm going to be responsible. Maybe I'll wear a suit with a heavy metal tie.

What are you looking forward to the most on the night?

I'm looking forward to catching up with a whole lot of people I know in the industry that I never get to see, it's just really exciting because the night is a lot of fun. Half way through the ceremony when everyone tunes out and then the party starts.

Have you been asked to any after parties?

We just get told what party we are meant to go to, and I just make the effort not to go to the one I've been told to go to and go to the one I'm not meant to go to. Regardless if they're better or not, I just wanna go. Not really, the Channel 7 party is usually the best one anyway, not being biased. It's kind of an idea to stay there because everyone else goes there.

Have you prepared a speech?

No, I was thinking the other day, because I'm honestly not even counting myself in there. Because when you think about it's the most popular in the male club and then the gold logie is the most popular personality. The person in the silver logie is going to have to win the gold!

Maybe I should write something down then I won't win, but if I don't I will and then I'll be stuffed cause I won't know what to say, see it's Murphy’s Law. Maybe I'll write down a few names I can't miss so I won’t be so upset if I have to chuck it away.

Your most memorable moment from previous Logies?

When the Neighbours cast got up and did that most ridiculous dance in the white outfits. I wish they'd do something like that every year. It was really entertaining.

People always try to be diplomatic about Neighbours and say we don't fight with them. Yes we do, we hate them. Home and Away hates Neighbours. We snarl at them! I just want to start a rivalry.

Whose your hot tip for the Gold Logie?

My diplomatic answer would be Kate Ritchie and my genuine answer is Kate or Chris. Because everyone knows Kate's left so they might think it might be their last opportunity to vote for her. And Chris because he’s just had two awesome TV shows in the last 18 months or so, and he’s worked really hard and nobodies really known about him, and now he’s got a profile I think he’ll be rewarded for that.
