Episode 3 - One Giant Leap

Hiro convinces his co-worker, Ando, to travel with him to America in order to save the world. He also does this awesome time-stopping trick to save a little girl's life, and it's cool and adorable, all at the same time. Nathan tells everyone that Peter's flying trip was really a botched suicide attempt, and the brothers are now at odds with each other. Peter also makes out with Simone after he tells her he's in love with her and she decides that heroin addicts make lousy boyfriends.

Niki buries her dead out in the desert, only to find a big skull ring on one of the corpses that's already six feet under. The ring belonged to one of the members of Niki's husband's gang. Her hubby apparently stole a bunch of moola from the one mobster in Vegas that everyone steals/borrows from and then killed his own gang.

Matt proves to Clea that he can read minds when he listens in on her thoughts of low self-esteem. Sylar shows up and tries to steal the little girl from last week, and Clea and Matt chase him down. Sylar uses his Jedi mind tricks to get Clea to put her own gun to her head. Matt shoots him dead and Clea is saved, but Sylar just gets up like nothing happened and runs off. We never see his face, so god only knows who he really is or if we'll ever find out.

Mohinder pays a visit to Sylar's pad in Queens, and he and Eden discover that not only is Sylar a neat-freak who likes plastic-covered furniture, but he's also a freak-freak who collects specimens of things in dusty jars, has a map of all the Heroes on his wall just like Papa Suresh, and has a gargantuan guilt complex, judging by all the "I have sinned" scratches on his bathroom tiles. Suresh calls in the police, but by the time they get there, Sylar the Super Neat has cleaned the place out.

And finally, Claire gets frisky with a jockstrap quarterback, but decides she's not ready to go all the way. He's quite dodgy, though, and he forces himself on her. Unfortunately, he drives her head right into a gardening tool. Even more unfortunately, she comes to on the coroner's table after the tool is removed and looks down at her chest to see that she's been opened up for an autopsy.

cool

hey, what was the url that Ando has on his hand-held? (When they set out for Vegas in the Nissan whatever). It was somehting like www.vegasnikki.com (but that wasn't it). Is that a real web site, related to the story? (I'm thinking lika the Hanso site for Lost).

I am outraged at the comments of the program are written by a 13year old airhead Paris Hilton wanna be launuage failure. A sentence statring with "Yeah it was like" or "whatever" is not the way the written language should be used. Get rid of that twit Early Girl and the poor writting

I agree. These episode summaries are very poorly written, I mean what is this..."Her hubby apparently stole a bunch of moola from the one mobster in Vegas that everyone steals/borrows from and then killed his own gang." What the???? This is so bad. Please 7, get rid of this kid and put a real writer in.

It's...www.lasvegasniki.com and it's an unofficial fan website.

Not only is the summary poorly written...It's incorrect. Claire's head does not get "driven" into a gardening tool. She falls backward on a pile of cut wood and a sharp branch spikes her in the base of her brain. As it turns out, our heroes' powers all stem from the brain. Disable their brain and you disable their powers. By removing the foreign object from Claire's brain, it was able to "re-boot" as it were, and she was able to recover. She can heal herself only when whatever has caused her inj

She can heal herself only when whatever has caused her injury has been removed or her damaged body part has been put back into alignment. Remember the broken ribs in ep1? They had to be pushed back in to allow them to heal.

Without giving anything away, don't miss ep4. You're going to love how she takes care of that date raping a**hole.
And ep14 will spin you out. [smug grin]

To all those who missed an episode, download a program called uTorrent and learn how to use it. I have already see
