Never before have a tv audience so wanted an onscreen romance for so long as was the case with these two. Can friends ever be successful lovers? This on again, off again romance played out over most of Friends' ten seasons and asked that very question. They had plenty of great moments... and twists. From the very first episode this was going to be very special. Addison was a wiseass slacker private eye with a razor sharp wit; Maddie was a former fashion model turned businesswoman with an excellent delivery of sarcastic retorts.
