All New Series Return

A new season equals new challenges for our young Homicide detectives.

Someone will leave...Other familiar faces return.
Risks are taken...Some pay off. Others claim a shocking price.
Romance blossoms...Partnerships die.
New villains emerge...Old bodies are uncovered.
Keen young detectives are driven to the edge. The challenge is not to fall off.

CITY HOMICIDE, the Number One Australian drama, is back on air with its stellar cast of four ambitious detectives played by Nadine Garner, Daniel MacPherson, Aaron Pedersen and Damien Richardson, and their superiors, seasoned performers Shane Bourne and Noni Hazlehurst.

The smart, intriguing tales and stylish sleuthing return, action-packed and deliciously blood-spattered.

A shooting on a crowded, city beach...A desperate gunman holed up in the Homicide Headquarters...Schoolyard bullying that takes a fatal turn...Families of secrets and lies...It's all part of the job in a busy Homicide squad.

This season holds even more dramatic developments in store for our detectives.

Duncan Freeman's (Aaron Pedersen) enigmatic past is about to catch up with him... But will it end up killing Duncan's career, or him?

Matt Ryan (Damien Richardson) has a fresh outlook on life which leads to romance... however Jennifer's reaction isn't what he expects at all...

Jennifer Mapplethorpe (Nadine Garner) becomes obsessed with a killer who got away... and an undercover assignment leaves her changed forever.

Simon Joyner (Daniel MacPherson) finds his courage under fire... but will his new-found ambitious drive lead him into murky waters?

Det. Superintendent Waverley (Noni Hazlehurst) handles the media hordes and stroppy cops with ease... but could a skeleton in her closet or her son’s new wild side derail her career?

And Det. Senior Sergeant Stanley Wolfe's (Shane Bourne) marriage savagely passes the point of no return....will he get back on track at work and could a professional, intimate liaison help him to heal his wounds?

With every killer case following its own distinctive twisted blueprint, the team continues to ensure that every victim, and every loved one left behind, counts. No greater commitment. No greater duty. No Greater Honour.

City Homicide: Their day begins when your days end.

Cant wait for it to return next Monday. Sounds like a very interesting season. I am also a fan of sea patrol that is ch 9 which finishes tonight which is good so really have to choose between the shows.
