Episode 28: Jane Doe
Originally aired: 27 October 2008
If a body is found with no head and no hands, how do you even begin to find out the victim's identity? No fingerprints, no dental records, not even a photo for the newspapers. This is the tough challenge faced by our team this week. And Waverley's making it worse by getting on everyone's case to wrap this one up. (This episode airs in VIC, SA and WA ONLY)

Episode 27: Jury Duty
Originally aired: 13 October 2008
The Linton brothers are smooth, hot and rich. Very rich. Kinda like mud cake but much more evil. They drive fast, expensive cars that Daddy bought them, they live in a mansion and they've always had everything their hearts' desired. Which, not surprisingly, has made them complete tools.

Now Marcus Linton and his brother Aaron are on trial for raping a teenage girl. But just when it seems like they might actually have to face some consequences, a juror is murdered, bringing everything to a grinding halt. Did they pay someone to do it? Did their Daddy 'take care of it' like he always has? Or are they murderers as well as rapists?

Interview with John Banas & John Hugginson, the writers/creators of City Homicide

Channel 7 | View the TV Guide »

An interview with City Homicide creators and writers John Banas & John Hugginson:

HOW WAS CITY HOMICIDE BORN AND WHAT DID YOU HOPE TO ACHIEVE?
John Hugginson
- Five or six years ago I wrote a Police show bible for Channel 7 which was put on hold. A few years later, the network were ready for it. John Banas and I were both working on All Saints and we rewrote the bible, resurrected and changed the characters, and City Homicide was reborn. It's not unusual for a show to be put on hold. Water Rats sat in my drawer for seven years before it saw the light of day.
John Banas - We aimed to make a believable show, which focussed on strong crime stories but remained character based and felt really Australian.
