Emily Deschanel
Dr Temperance Brennan
Emily Deschanel has established herself as one of Hollywood's hottest rising stars. Her film credits include Glory Road, opposite Josh Lucas for producer Jerry Bruckheimer; Cold Mountain for Anthony Minghella; The Alamo for John Lee Hancock; Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 2; Boogeyman for Stephen Kay; and Jane Weinstock's Easy, for which she attended the 2003 Toronto International Film Festival and the 2004 Sundance Film Festival.In October 2004, Interview Magazine named Deschanel one of "6 Actors to Watch" in their annual "Young Hollywood" issue.
Deschanel's television credits include guest appearances on the series Crossing Jordan, Providence and Law & Order: SVU, and the Stephen King miniseries Rose Red. Theater credits for Deschanel, a member of the Interact Theatre Company, include the roles of "Emily" in Our Town and "Natasha" in Three Sisters.
Deschanel was born in Los Angeles and received her Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Theater from Boston University.
