Nick Carroll, Dunsborough, WA
Because those vacuous bean-counters in admin couldn't run a hospital to save themselves. Frank just got fed up with their interference. So he went to the brink and said it's me or you!
Out of all the storylines you've had with Frank, what has been the most memorable and has touched your heart?
Jessica, Queanbeyan, ACT
Well that would be a toss up between when Bart got shot or when my daughter took an overdose because she mistakenly took Frank's pills for depression. Kathleen was Frank's autistic child and so that was an awful feeling to think you could cause your only child's death.
Do you plan to stay in the show for the next few years?
Mary, Newcastle, NSW
I hope so, till 2034. Even if they are not making it I'll still be coming out here. They'll be saying, "I don't know why he keeps coming out here, he keeps talking about some medical show?"
It's a great gig, it's the longest gig I've had in my acting career.
What do you like most about working as an actor?
Erin, Lancefield, Victoria
The most enjoyable thing is getting up in the dark and coming home in the dark because I've got very delicate skin.
Isn't it about time you had a love interest on the show?
Ana, Concord, NSW
I've already had a love interest. I went to Paris for her and she dumped me.
