Episode 440: Sons and Lovers

Erica's hens' night end abruptly when a pole dancing class goes wrong but a parent's love gives her an insight into Rhonda's behaviour.

Dan dreams erotic dreams about Erica's pole dancing class but the reality is a much more down to earth affair. Bree has arranged the class as the first part of a hens' celebration. But when the instructor Caitlin ("Kitty Kat") comes off the pole, the celebrations come to an end. Caitlin has injured her wrist after what appears to be a minor dizzy spell.

But with Charlotte struggling to find her balance between her new 2-IC duties and doctoring the woman, will she miss a far more sinister diagnosis?

A teenage boy is brought in with horrendous injuries resulting from the collision between a shopping trolley and a car. Mitch was riding the trolley for what can only be presumed some Jackass-esque stunt. When his father, John, arrives he is devastated to see his son barely clinging on to life. Erica is witness to the depth of love the father has for his son when the man discovers the accident is now on the internet for all the world to see and takes drastic measures to have it removed.

Dan is assigned a patient who has chronic prostatitis. The man's clumsy attempts to fix his problem have resulted in him complicating the situation. When the reasons for the patient's actions are discovered, Dan is given food for thought about his own troubles at home.

that was such a funny episode, the way all the boys (especially frank) were around the pole dancing girl!

What a flat episode after the excitement of Bloodlines. No mention of anyone visiting poor Rhianna in hospital like they do other hospitalised ED staff. Oh well she was only a temp Agency nurse, so true to life.

I agree completely jan471016, i was a bit disappointed with this episode. It was bland and totally lifeless compared to 'Bloodlines' last week. I also wish that they followed up on the story with Rhiannon, but now it's as if she never existed.

Thank-you All Saints for a funny & as always entertaining episode.
I'm sure it isn't all doom & stress in the ED depts. Excellent story lines...intriguing, controversial, intense, thought provoking, light hearted moments & excellent charaters & actors/actresses. Well done & keep up the great work.
