Rhiannon convinces Charlotte to meet her away from All Saints in the hope of finding a way to reconcile their differences. Their showdown is interrupted by a brutal hit and run. They help the hurt pedestrian until the Paramedics arrive, before returning to their stoush. They both demand that the other publicly backs down. And when a heartbreaking stalemate appears to be the likely outcome, Charlotte warns Frank she's not going down without a fight.

Von, determined to continue supporting a family of illegal immigrants, inadvertently dragoons Mike into her cause. Mike is appalled to discover that Nadir was brutally tortured before fleeing to Australia and that his resultant injuries have become life threatening.
