When Mike tries to stop Simon checking himself out of All Saints, Simon collapses. The team fight against the clock to stabilise him and in the process, Mike steps up and offers his own blood, revealing to the rest of the ED that Simon is his son. But will that be enough to save him?
Dan's care for Tegan, a patient suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, brings him into conflict with new Psychiatric Consultant, Elizabeth Foy. But as she pushes deeper, Dr Foy demonstrates that there's much more to her methods than meets the eye, causing Dan to reach a tough decision about his Hep C treatment and his future with Erica.
Bart is facing his own dilemma re Ann-Maree. He resists Von's attempts to help him see sense, but deep in his heart Bart knows that if he continues to see Ann-Maree he's putting his job, and the reputation of the hospital on the line. Will Bart's sense of professional duty override his feelings for Ann-Maree?
Steve returns to the ED to ask for his job back. Gabrielle's shocked and Frank's dismissive, but then Steve finds himself privy to some very dangerous information. Will he use it to his advantage?
