While Von makes final preparations to leave All Saints, she finds herself caught up with the case of a young woman who presents in labour without ever having realised she was pregnant.

With Frank, Bart and Amy lending a hand with the birth itself, it’s Von’s task to make the young woman understand that she is capable of far more than she believes herself to be.

Can Von leave All Saints with a win? Or is the distress of her patient more than she can cope with on her last day?

Meanwhile, in Resus, Adam, Charlotte and Gabrielle find themselves with a challenge of their own. A woman is dying and her devoted husband seems incapable of accepting the inevitable. While the woman struggles to hold on, our team are forced into trying to help the husband understand that his love for his wife, is doing more harm than good.

And Elliott has a challenge of his own to face. Frank has told him to work out what sort of a Doctor he wants to be. But with the patient from hell to deal with, it’s proving an almost impossible task for the young Intern. When an emergency presents itself, Elliott is forced to face the reality of being a Doctor.

Mike’s test results arrive and they’re not at all what he’s expecting. And Steve struggles to deal with Gabrielle’s decision to terminate the pregnancy.
