10 Years Younger in 10 Days is a brand new makeover program transforming couples who are either style-challenged or have simply let themselves go due to the constant juggling of work and family demands. With the help of the 10 Years Younger in 10 Days expert teams, the couples will be looking and feeling 10 years younger in just 10 days.

In every episode, one husband and wife couple will be given the chance to reclaim the years that got away; boosting self-esteem, restoring confidence and changing lives along the way.

If it can be done in 10 days our experts will do it. From fitness to fashion, dental and diet, to cosmetic procedures and treatments, every step will be taken to help wind back the hands of time.

But first, in a gesture of tough love, Sonia Kruger will send the couples out onto the streets to find out the unflinching truth about the way they look to other people.

Imagine standing in a glass box while passers by guess your age at a lot more than it actually is; the truth will hurt.

The transformation will not be easy. The couples won't be able to see each other for the 10 days of this incredible makeover, and for some this separation will prove just as difficult as the challenge itself.

When they are finally reunited, it's highly emotional – and for many it is a turning point in their lives.

While each couple makes the journey on screen, with easy-to-follow advice, tips and tricks of the trade from the 10 Years Younger in 10 Days' experts, viewers can take the first steps towards looking younger from the comfort of their own couch.

The Couples

Today's hectic pace is taking its toll – both men and women are looking older than they should. Longer working hours, stress, financial worries, poor diet, sun damage, excessive lifestyles and a lack of exercise are prematurely robbing them of their youth.

In this series you will meet couples like John and Tracey.

Married for 23 years with three children, they are both unhappy with their appearance, stuck in a rut and ready for change.

In his mid 40's, John's self-conscious about his weight, hates his sagging eyelids and would like to remedy the damage from years of working in the sun. He's having a mid-life crisis and is in desperate need of change.

Tracey thinks becoming a mum and marrying young contributed to neglecting her appearance. She struggles with an on-going weight problem and is very embarrassed about her teeth. She hates going out, and when she does, she physically hides behind John.

Tracey and John's story is not unique, it's a common theme shared by all couples in 10 Years Younger in 10 Days - they're ready and willing for change – they just need the know-how.

The Experts

10 Years Younger in 10 Days has a highly respected team of experts to guide the couples on their path to reinvention.

All are leaders in their field and currently work in the industry contributing to film, television and magazines. They have the inside knowledge on looking good and a wealth of trade secrets to share.

Leading stylists Ken Thompson and Jane Johnston will advise on fashion while hair stylists Julianne McGuigan and Troy Thompson will create signature styles for each couple. Grooming expert Will Fennell and make-up artist Cathy Savage will provide the all-important finishing touches.

The couples' new looks will be completed with fashions supplied by some of Australia's top designers including Carla Zampatti, AG (Arthur Galan), Farage, George Gross & Harry Who, Deus ex Machina and Mitzi Skyring. International labels such as Paul Smith will also be featured.
